COVID-19 GUIDANCE

  • Although it’s not at present a legal requirement, students wishing to wear a mask during class are welcome to do so.

  • Although self-isolation is not required by law any longer, f you have any Covid-19 symptoms or test positive, please do not attend class, and contact your tutor for advice.

  • If a tutor either contracts Covid-19 or is suffering any symptoms and/or needs to self-isolate, the class will be moved online for any necessary period. Regular terms and conditions will be followed in case a tutor cannot be sourced on time for online delivery: basically, a catch up lesson during half term or at the end of the course.

  • If there is an outbreak of Covid-19 in the school, or government advice changes, classes will be held online and moved back on-site at the earliest possible chance.

COVID-19 SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

  • No refunds, deferrals or credits will be granted for any Covid-19 cases. If you have to self-isolate or are unwell, self-study materials will be provided for any missed lessons.

  • Hackney Spanish is not responsible for any infection that might occur in the school.

  • In the case a course has to be moved online totally or partially due to changes in government advice, no partial or total refunds, deferrals or credits will be granted.

  • In the case masks are reintroduced due to changes in government advice, no partial or total refunds, deferrals or credits will be granted.

  • Hackney Spanish is not responsible for your arrangements for online learning. Regrettably, we can’t help with your broadband speed or the quality of your computer. Please consider this when joining an on-site course, in case the course has to move online totally or partially.
